Supporting an Autism Centre

We will start to support a specialised centre where children with autism and learning disabilities (such as dyslexia and ADHD) can receive the care they need. This project was initiated by Hafiz Faisal Rasool, working as an Operations Engineer at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt.

The HE Space Children's Foundation is supporting the Young Muslim Inclusive Education System (YMIES), an educational institute working on the principle of “Inclusive Education”. The institute has minimal facilities for autism, whereas they are facing a reasonably high flow of such children requiring assistance.

Since they were unable to help them without requisite facilities, they established an Autism Center of International Standards in a rented accommodation.

The focus of YMIES is on supporting children with disability in the areas of Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Slow Learner, Hearing IP, Down Syndrome and Physically Handicaps. Their mission is to rehabilitate these children so that they may become useful citizens of the society.
